Union nominees on Equality Authority consider position, row over Crowley’s resignation intensifies

 

The resignation of Niall Crowley from his post as CEO of the Equality Authority, in protest against Budget cuts of 43%, has provoked a huge outcry, prompting two board directors, both union nominees, to announce that they would be “considering their position” ahead of the upcoming board meeting next week.
